Shenandoah Goldens recently relocated to Upstate New York. While the location has changed, our values have not.  We are dedicated to breeding, raising and training happy and healthy golden retrievers.  Our goldens perform in conformation, obedience, agility, tracking and therapy work as well as being loved members of the family.

Diane has been active with golden retrievers since 1996.  She currently trains the dogs for obedience (including rally obedience), agility and tracking as well as therapy work.  All the dogs are CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and TDI (Therapy Dog International) certified and regularly visit local nursing homes. Diane earned her CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer) in 2005 and has taught puppy kindergarten, beginner obedience and rally obedience at the Bon-Clyde Learning Center in Sanford, NC before relocating to New York. She is currently teaching an intermediate obedience and Rally Obedience at the Albany Obedience Club , a dog training course at SUNY-Cobleskill as well as giving private obedience lessons as All Dawgs Training Services.  She also is certified to evaluate for  CGC and TDI tests.  She served as the first President for Tarheel Golden Retriever Club and is currently the President of Northeastern New York Golden Retriever Club as well as being a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) and APDT .  Diane also served as a volunteer with Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue for almost two years.
